The fundraising proceeds will be used for but not limited to replacement of boilers with new units that can produce both heating & cooling, kitchen updates & general interior upkeep. With your generosity, we will achieve our 2023 goals as a foundation to support the improvements at Robin Hill Center. The event will feature a fun-filled evening of comedy & camaraderie featuring a ‘Murder Mystery Dinner Theater’ including: Entertainment (musical entertainment & dinner theater) Two Drink Tickets + Cash Bar Hors D’oeuvres Three Course Meal Opportunities to win raffle prizes, silent auction items, a 50/50 raffle & door prizes! To reach our fundraising goal of $15,000+ for this project, we are requesting support from our community. In addition, we will be donating a portion of the proceeds raised from the event to our Moon Township Volunteer Fire Company. As part of our annual fundraising efforts, the Foundation is excited to announce our 2nd annual community fundraising event to be hosted at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott on Saturday, May 6 th at 6:00pm. Currently, Robin Hill Center is primarily used for Moon Parks & Recreation office space and programs as well as popular rental space for weddings, showers, graduation parties & more. Mary Nimick graciously bequested through her will, the family’s 53-acre property to Moon Township with proviso that it be “for perpetual use as a park or a wildlife refuge and for the enjoyment of the residents of said township and their friends.” In addition, the grounds currently boast over 140 acres of natural landscape, miles of walking trails, the Fleur de Lune Garden, flower meadows, a gazebo, and an authentic 1800’s log home.

Robin Hill Center, a historic estate, along with a carriage house was built in the early 1920s by Francis and Mary Nimick. This year, our focus will be aimed at raising funds for interior facility updates and improvements to Robin Hill Center (located within Robin Hill Park at 949 Thorn Run Road). Each year, we offer various opportunities to support our community.
